First single/album you ever bought? The Woolpackers, Hillbilly Rock Hillbilly Roll, I was 12 and just started line dancing classes, so wanted to practice to be the best in the class the following week.
The first gig or concert you went to? Tina Turner’s 24/7 Tour at Wembley! OMG the energy she had that night was incredible.
One song you never get tired of? Laura Branigan - Gloria, what a tune - it sounds better the Louder it is.
If you could interview any music legend (alive or gone), Has to be Tina Turner, she was a legend!
Guilty pleasure song you secretly love? Lou Bega - Mambo number 5, I think it was the decorating scene in The Royal Family where the love for this song started.
What’s your go-to karaoke track? I can’t sing a note, but when I belt out Tina Turner’s version of Proud Mary everyone’s too busy dancing to care. Eddie’s in for a treat (or a nightmare) at the next night out!
Favourite Lincolnshire landmark or place to visit? Huttoft car terrace / beach with my dogs, followed by Farmer Browns Ice cream - seriously you must try their farm made Ice cream!
Red arrows, tractors, or sausages – what screams “Lincolnshire” to you most? Aviation, we're blessed not only having the red arrows but also the BBMF in the county.
Lincolnshire hidden gem people should know about? The International bomber command at Canwick.
Favourite Lincolnshire saying/phrase you’ve heard? "That’s a rum do", as in it’s a strange situation - I mean what is that all about?
Tea or coffee to start the day? Has to be coffee, I am a bit of a coffee snob I have to admit.
What would you be doing if you weren’t on the radio? Selling advertising or running a pub.
One thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I broke a world record for the longest game of darts between 2 people. 29 Hours. (We had multiple games, it wasn’t just a single game)
What’s always in your car glovebox? BBQ Sauce from a well known fast food outlet & a torch.
Early bird or night owl? Night owl, I think it’s from running pubs my body clock is still wanting to stay up late.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? If someone offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes & learn how to do it later.
Your three desert island essentials (not radio-related!) My pets, Mobile phone & a crate of Batemans beer.
