Annual village open gardens, entertainment, wheelbarrow competition; this year with a twist!

Barrow Upon Humber bursts into bloom with inventive and colourful wheelbarrows and inspiring open gardens. With entertainment from the likes of Ravin’ Maes (all female) Morris Dancers, Barrow Band, Buskers and Traction Engine Display. Refreshment stops such as Gen’s Cakes, Waterside Ice Cream Parlour and Strawberry Teas.

This year, residents without a wheelbarrow will be presenting innovative takes on ‘anything beginning with B’. Expect blooming, bountiful, maybe bizarre: Baskets, Bicycles, Buckets…?? Visitors also get a vote on who takes home the prizes.
All this and more promises a packed weekend with something for everyone – and a map so you can find it all.
Entry is free! But for a donation you can obtain a copy of the map in the Marketplace for all the displays and venues. All proceeds go to BETTER BARROW COMMUNITY PROJECT (registered charity No. 1159794)
