More Information (Lincs Sound is not responsible for external websites)
This is a class for artists that have done a little landscape painting, but would love to push their style a bit further – to loosen up and to express more of the emotional side of landscape through a abstract expressionist approach.
During the class students will learn about some of the principles of abstract landscape painting and will use them to create a series of studies using drawing and painting techniques taught on the day. The day will culminate in creating a final acrylic painting inspired by landscape – either from their own source materials or some provided by the tutor. Suitable for all levels of artist from beginner to professional. We will be using acrylic paints, crayons and paint pens – all water soluble and non-toxic.
Paints May stain clothing. Aprons will be provided
Tea, coffee & biscuits provided
please bring a lunch
About Hannah Cawthorne
Hannah is an experienced tutor, having taught art to children and adults for many years. She is also a professional artist who paints large scale abstract paintings and collages.
She loves to help people unlock the innate creativity she believes lies in all of us. Her style is very much about guiding students to listen to their intuition so they can follow their own creative path. She is also full of good advice and lots of tips and tricks to help you reach your full potential as an artist. She teaches classes in abstract and semi-abstract painting, in collage, in using art for wellbeing and in how to develop your own artistic voice.
